In many cases yes. Distribution centers can be notoriously rough on pallet rack. They need it to last – that’s why I’ve seen the nations largest distribution companies make the choice time and time again to buy structural rack for their new DC’s. Structural rack is the best choice for distribution centers with tall ceilings (30′-40′ high). It’s the best choice for any warehouse that is rough on their rack. Think of it as a long term investment that pays off handsomely as time goes on.

I can say with certainty that Frazier rack is stronger than the other manufacturer’s structural rack. Ask the others manufacturer’s if they are willing to offer a driver abuse warrant? They won’t.  Frazier offers the best overall value in the business for structural rack. They do more structural rack than all of the competitors combined.

structural-pallet-rackFrazier structural steel pallet rack has all structural components, no hybrid. Hybrid roll formed beams with structural end pieces can help reduce the cost of the project. Roll form beams are great if they are straight BUT (and this is BIG BUT) when they kink they collapse and lose all strength.  It will cost you a bundle in the long run.

If you want a true long term value in high bay storage than structural rack is it! That’s why you see it almost exclusively in grocery distribution centers. It is popular for both selective and drive in pallet rack. They say it’s easier to wipe down and clean than teardrop rack. Be sure to request wire deck with flared channel supports for structural channel beams.
