We offer a complete line of Automotive Rigid Steel Containers & Bins that share common characteristics. Patterned after the famous GM heavy duty steel containers using original blue prints these steel bins are built to last. Our steel shipping containers all have solid steel sides that have round perforated holes for ventilation. They also include 4-way steel fork runners. Stackable 4 high with pin stacking feet on top of posts. Stackable 2 high in a trailer.

These heavy-duty steel containers are built like a tank. They are said to be virtually indestructible. You can drop heavy parts in them. You can drop them or run into them with a forklift and they hold up better than any other containers. Although if your bins are getting dropped and run into you probably need new forklift drivers.

These steel shipping containers have holes in them that allow air to flow. They also help you visually identify parts stored inside the baskets which helps at inventory time. The steel bins have 4-way steel runners that act as enclosed fork pockets that help secure the bin to the forks in transit.

TIP FROM THE PRO’S: Let us know if you want perforated holes in side walls of container. You could save money by requesting we not put holes in sides of bin. Adding hold to the side walls does increase the cost. You may ask what is the purpose of having holes in the sides of the bins, the answer is two fold: 1. it increases air flow when storing hot parts. 2. It gives forklift drivers visual recognition as to whether the bin is full or empty. In the old days we would put holes in uniform rows but recently we’ve been putting holes in the shape of letters (example: GM) or initials of company to prevent pilferage. Sometimes it is not enough to have your company name stenciled on the sides as someone could remove the stencil but holes cannot be removed.
