Chrysler style rigid steel containers and bins are some of the heaviest duty containers in the automotive industry. They are virtually indestructible. Chrysler has a line of standard size steel containers and they that have common characteristics but include different features. Some have drop gates and some don’t.

We represent a group of rack manufacturer’s across the USA and in Canada that specialize in manufacturing Chrysler steel containers. They have copies of the original Chrysler specifications and manufacture them to these exacting specs. Keep in mind that when you are investing in a Chrysler OCC, CC, CS and OCS Series steel containers you are getting a design that has been engineered to do the job and engineered to last.

These steel bulk bins have rigid tubular steel corners posts with solid or perforated steel side panels. Rigid corners posts have stacking pins on top. Includes 4-way fork Runners on base which helps reduce damage and safely secures the container to the forks. Chrysler steel shipping containers are robust and can withstand dropping of heavy steel parts metal stampings.

Chrysler steel bulk bins are commonly used for transporting and storing metal automotive stampings. They bring stampings from the Tier 2 suppliers to the automotive manufacturer. These steel shipping containers can be stacked 4-5 high in your warehouse or two high in your trailer saving you valuable floor space.

TIP FROM THE PRO’S: Let us know if you want perforated holes in side walls of container. You could save money by requesting we not put holes in sides of bin. Adding hold to the side walls does increase the cost. You may ask what is the purpose of having holes in the sides of the bins, the answer is two fold: 1. it increases air flow when storing hot parts. 2. It gives forklift drivers visual recognition as to whether the bin is full or empty. In the old days we would put holes in uniform rows but recently we’ve been putting holes in letters or initials of companies to prevent pilferage. Sometimes it is not enough to have your company name stenciled on the sides as someone could remove the stencil but holes cannot be removed.
