A narrow aisle stand-up reach truck can operate in an approximate 10′ aisle. Reach trucks are common in warehouses and distribution centers. They can even be found in big box retailers such as Home Depot & Lowes. Narrow aisle reach trucks help you maximize storage space by reducing the 12′ aisle size required by larger forklifts. These narrow aisle reach trucks commonly have outriggers off the front that can damage pallet rack. I recommend that you use beams from 102″-108″ in length. I also recommend using a bottom beam level approximately 10″ off the floor.
