If you go to the garment district in any major city or the fabric store in your local town you are likely to find yourself walking the rows of our Fabric Roll Storage Rack System that densely, efficiently, and safely store rolls of colorful fabric. These fabric storage racks are designed to store fabric rolls horizontally on the shelf with 3″-6″ overhang on the front and back of the shelf.
Fabric roll organizers come in starter units and add-on units. Starter units are free-standing and have 2 uprights. Add on units for the fabric racking system have only 1 upright and must be attached to a starter unit. This allows you to create rows of racks. Fabric roll storage racks attach to one another. A typical starter unit will include 2 upright frames, 8 beams that are used to construct 4 shelf levels, front-to-back support brackets, and 4 pieces of particle board decking. Together this is used to construct a fabric roll storage rack starter unit. An add-on unit has all the same material except one less upright.
Our fabric storage racks have a smooth particle board deck that allows you to easily slide rolls of fabric on and off the shelf without hooks or snags. We can also offer smooth or corrugated decking. Beam levels, also known as shelf levels, are fully adjustable in 2″ increments. Fabric holder units come standard in attractive vista green and orange uprights and beams. We can also supply uprights in royal blue color.
Standard fabric rolls are 45″-54″ in length which is perfect for our 48″ deep shelf. Some special fabrics come on rolls of up to 60″ in length. For 60″ rolls we can provide fabric roll storage with up to 60″ deep shelving. As far as the width of your fabric roll rack, we offer roll storage with shelf widths of 48″, 72″ and 96″ step beams. Our fabric storage racks are popular with clothing manufacturers, fabric wholesalers, and fabric retailers that sell them by the roll.

In most cases, we use the Teardrop Wide Span Rack because it is sufficiently strong and more affordable. The only time we will use the heavier duty teardrop pallet rack is when the heights are tall and weights are heavy.
