Slit coils can be a challenge to store safely and efficiently. That is why our stackable slit coil transport racks are so popular. They allow you to safely and efficiently store slit coil racks in your manufacturing facility, warehouse or distribution center.
When storing slit coil racks there are two options: Storing them eye to the sky vs. eye to the aisle. Storing slit coils eye to the sky is when slit coils are stored on their side, laying on a pallet, often times bulk stacked or stored in pallet rack. Storing slit coils eye to the aisle is more challenging.
Storing slit coils configured eye to the aisle requires you store them in stationary slit coil racks or portable stacking slit coil racks – both of which we provide. We have two types of portable slit coil racks – stackable and non-stackable. See below for more information on our portable slit coil racks.
If your floor is cluttered with palletized slit coil racks you need a solution. One that will maximize storage space and organize slit coils. Our portable, stackable slit coil stack rack allow you to clear up valuable floor space.
Imagine if I told you that you could easily and safely transport slit coils around you warehouse. Our portable slit coil transport racks can be picked up with a forklift and transported with slit coils still in the racks. This allows you to efficiently transport slit coils from the warehouse to the production line.
*NOTE: WARNING: SLIT COIL RACK MUST BE FULLY LOADED BEFORE LIFTING, MOVING, TRANSPORTING & STACKIN. NOT TO EXCEED 2,500 LBS CAPACITY.
