Lower Prices for Larger Quantities

When you want the strength and rigidity of a stacking pallet rack with solid steel decking but you also want it to have drainage and be light weight, you choose a stack rack with perforated steel decking!

Stack racks with steel decking, either solid or perforated, allow your employees to get a little rougher when moving product. They can throw bags, boxes, pallets and skids a little harder onto the decking without damaging it. This is especially helpful when you’re trying to move inventory quickly.

Another great benefit is that the perforated holes allow for drainage. Drainage is essential to the health and longevity of your stack rack. Say your stack rack is sitting in the yard or on the dock ready for transport and it gets wet. Water would build up on a solid steel deck, but the perforated holes in the stack rack allow it to drain.

Steel decking is always accompanied by a reinforced B-4 base that allows for 4-way entry. You can load and fork this stack rack from all 4 sides, which give you extra versatility so necessary for the warehouse. Stacks with perforated deck or expanded metal decking give you the best of both worlds. You get strength of a solid deck and drainage of a wire mesh deck. It’s a winning combination!

Stacking pallet racks with perforated decking do come at a higher price, but the benefits outweigh the cost. It costs extra money for us to punch holes in the deck, but the long term advantage of having a lighter deck that doesn’t allow dust and dirt build up is worth the extra money. Perforated decking reduces the overall weight of the stack rack, which allows you to get more product on a truck and for easier handling.

This is a must-have!
