Roll out shelf racks are the ultimate in ergonomic and efficient order picking. No more stooping, bending, climbing under rack beams to pick boxes off the back of shelves or pallets. No more strains, pains and costly accidents associated with picking and pulling heavy boxes. The roll out shelf effortlessly pulls out offering you easy ergonomic access to stored goods.
You will note from the pictures that we offer both a beam mounted and floor mounted unit. The beam mounted pull out storage shelves easily attach to your existing orange pallet rack beams with a bolt on bracket. The floor mounted units for these pull out storage shelves attach to a rail that is anchored to your concrete floor.
Roll out shelving is offered with either a solid galvanized steel top plate or 3 crossmembers. Solid (or perforated) steel top plates are ideal when storing only boxes on the shelf. The roll out shelf with three crossmembers is used when storing palletized product. You can save some money if you choose the roll out shelf with crossbars which is used strictly for pallet storage.
Our pull out storage shelves come standard with a 1″ lip on the back and sides to prevent boxes from falling off the shelf. The beam mounted roll out shelf comes standard with a lock-in (no lock-out) shelf. The shelf requires that you push a lever which prevents shelf from rolling out. The floor mounted sliding shelving systems include a removable handle which makes it easy to pull out.
