Rack Integrated Carton Flow

Pallet Rack integrated carton flow is a pallet rack accessory. Convert your pallet rack into a high density, high efficiency carton flow racking system by utilizing your existing pallet rack. We have 96″ wide x 96″ deep shelf frames or flow beds that fit into your existing pallet rack. These flow beds typically have 7 flow lanes and utilize 6 dividers. Each flow lane has 2-3 roller tracks with plastic wheels.

Rack integrated carton flow is often used to support pick pack operations. The carton flow rack is on lower levels of pallet rack or configured along a conveyor system. Order pickers will drive down the aisle on their order picker or electric pallet jack and pick boxes from the shelf. When a box is picked the boxes behind it flow to the front of the system for easy picking. Rack integrated carton flow is usually loaded from the back and picked from the front.

Carton flow racking systems are excellent for FIFO (first in first out) order picking. The advantages are many including storage density, handling efficiency and ergonomics. Carton flow racking is used for picking boxes from racks and shelves. It can help you increase pick speeds because boxes flow forward to front of the shelf on roller tracks with plastic wheels and prevent order picker from having to reach to back of shelf.
