Our Gravity Feed Stands must be used in conjunction with our drop bottom corrugated steel containers. The two together allow you to store, transport and pick parts densely and efficiently.
The concept for this part sorting machine is simple. You wouldn’t know it but the bottom of the container is hinged. It acts as a regular corrugated steel container storing, stacking, transporting parts around your manufacturing facility.
It’s not until you set it on the gravity feed stand that an angle on the containers side engages with an angle on the gravity feed stand holding the container in place but allowing the bottom to drop along with all of its contents.
When our corrugated steel container is set in the gravity feed stand the contents of the container come pouring out into a trough with an open hopper front. The open hopper front of this part sorting machine allows for easy, ergonomic access to stored parts which makes for efficient picking.
