Molded Fiberglass Grate Decking makes a great alternative to standard pallet rack decking. It’s made of high quality mesh grating. Although it’s more expensive, it will quickly prove itself as a worthwhile investment. In fact, fiberglass grate decking will actually save you money in the long run!
Molded Fiberglass Grating is stronger than other types of pallet rack decking. It’s made of 35-40% glass, which gives it its strength and stiffness. It’s typically used for industrial flooring so you know you can trust its strength. Because it’s so strong, you won’t have to constantly replace your decking like you would with other pallet rack decking. Fiberglass grate decking is also easy to maintain.

It has 60-65% resin content, which protects the fiberglass from corrosive materials. It can also be customized with resin systems that protect against a number of acids, caustics and salts. You can make fiberglass grate decking work for your needs!
Speaking of making it work for you, it has a number of configurations so you’re sure to find the perfect option. Choose from 1″, 1-1/2″ or 2″ thickness. You can choose from 3’x10′, 4’x8′, 4’x12′ panels. Square or rectangular bearing bar shapes are available. Square provides more bi-directional load strength. We can even add more grit to create more of an anti-skid feature. We offer a lot of color options to help you further customize your pallet rack decking.
Fiberglass pallet rack decking is flame retardant and has low electrical and thermal conductivity. These features alone would be a great reason to switch because they will increase the safety of your warehouse. Plus the fire marshall and your insurance company will be thrilled!
It’s important to note that because it has a high resin content, it is more vulnerable to chipping and abrasion. However, it is manufactured with a resin that protects against UV damage and fiber blooming.
