Our pallet rack flue guards (AKA pallet safety stops) are easy to install and prevent pallets from entering flue space. Adding an in-rack sprinkler flue guard may be one of the best decisions you’ve made from a monetary and safety standpoint.
If you’ve installed an in-rack sprinkler system you’ve made a great choice. The next great decision you must make is using an in-rack sprinkler flue guard to protect it from damage. As you probably know, in-rack sprinkler systems are a very expensive investment, one that you want to protect. You can do that by adding our patented Worldstops which act as flue space protectors. You can also add pallet load stop beams or wire mesh partition rack backing.
Preventing pallets from entering the flue space has many advantages including protecting in-rack sprinklers, preventing pallets from falling off the rack on to the floor and they help meet Fire Marshall and Insurance requirements that state you must maintain a 6″ or greater flue space for overhead sprinklers to operate at full capacity.
