Cable Reel Racks Increase Reel Storage Density and Handling Efficiency!

It’s easy to store and dispense materials on our strong and versatile cable reel racks, or wire spool dispensers. Reel rack storage is ideal for contractors, electrical wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and more. Starter and add-on units let you configure a system to fit your warehouse. Begin with a starter and attach add-on units as needed to create a row of wire spool dispensers.

Our pallet rack reel holders have all welded steel uprights, orange beams and 3 pairs of axle brackets that are adjustable on 2” increments. You provide the bars that hold the reels in place. Adjustable axle brackets allow you to stagger bars along the frame for different size reels. Cable reel rack capacity is 2000 lbs. when evenly distributed.

Wire spool dispensers are available in either single-sided or double-sided units. “A” frame units are lower cost and designed for light to medium reel rack applications. Reel racks handle reel sizes up to 60” diameter, and are most stable when ordered in groupings of 2-3 sections joined together in one row.

Two Styles of Cable Reel Racks:

  1. A-Frame Cable Reel Rack – Medium duty cable reel rack for small to medium size coils. Utilizes an A-Frame upright, top and bottom header beams and coil reels. Customer to provide their own pole.

H-Frame Cable Reel Rack – Heavier duty cable reel rack for larger heavier cable reels. Integrates into standard pallet rack. Utilizes Uprights, beams and reel holders. (See Attached Pictures)

 

What we need to know in order to design a wire spool dispenser:

  • What is the lift truck height of your lift truck, or what serviceable rack height is desired?
  • How many reels will you store?
  • What is the diameter and width of each reel?
  • How heavy is each reel?
  • Do you need a single- or double-sided reel rack?
  • How many rows of reel rack are required, and what is the overall length of row?
  • What is the number of sections or bays per row rack required?
  • What is the preferred upright height?
  • What is the preferred horizontal beam length?
