IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL IF YOU COULD ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS. THIS WOULD ALLOW US TO GIVE YOU A MORE ACCURATE QUOTATION:

  1. What is the estimated total volume per order? This can be an actual number or a reference to TL qtys
  2. What is your order frequency based on this volume?
  3. Do you prefer van, flatbed, or both for delivery?
  4. Will you need a 2way stringer pallet? 4way stringer pallet? Block Pallet?  Or a skid?(no bottom boards)
  5. What’s the estimated load for the product going on the pallet?
  6. What are the dims of the objects being loaded on the pallet?
  7. Will you be stacking the pallets after product has been loaded on them? If so how many high?
  8. Will the pallet be placed on the floor or in a racking system after product is loaded?
  9. If in the racking, is it supported with undercarriage supports or no?
  10. What is the pallet required Length and width? The stringer length is always the first number associated with pallet dims.  EX:  a 48×40 measures 48” runners with 40” cross decking.  If you request a 40×48 the orientation of the pallet will be reversed.
  11. What is the current deck thickness being used for top and bottom boards?
  12. Are you needing Dry pine, green pine, or hardwood lumber?
  13. How many top boards are currently on the pallet and how wide are they?
  14. How many bottom boards are currently on the pallet and how wide are they?
  15. Do you have a required gap spacing tolerance we must adhere to?
  16. How many stringers or blocks are currently on the pallet?
  17. If more than 3 stringers, what are there required spacings?
  18. Do you require a wing pallet design? If so do you require it on top only, bottom only, or both? (A wing pallet refers to the deck overhanging the ends of the stringers)
  19. If wing is required, how far out do they hang from the outside edge of the stringers on each side?
  20. Do you require clipped or radius edge lead boards?
  21. Do you utilize a palletizer machine or machine fed system?
  22. Do you need Heat Treatment? ( this is for international shipping only)
  23. Do you need deck chamfering?
  24. Do you need any specific markings or stencils to be present? If so, where are they needing to be located?
  25. Do you require any paint or coloring on the pallet? If so, where and what color?
  26. Do you need the pallets to be banded in stacks? If so, what unit counts do you require?
  27. Do you have a mold tolerance? Some is typical from time to time but if you are allowed more, the cost of the pallet will be less due to fewer man hours sorting fiber at the production line
