What is the difference between our portable slit coil racks and our mobile slit coil racks? The portable slit coil rack has two end posts that are welded and non removable which allows you to transport the slit coil rack around your facility loaded with slit coils. The stationary slit coil is exactly as it sounds, a floor mounted slit coil rack system that is anchored to the floor and not designed to be moved.
The portable slit coil rack is offers you tremendous versatility and flexibility in that it can be transported to wherever you need in your warehouse or manufacturing facility. Simply pick it up with your forklift and move it about the warehouse. It has fork tunnels in the base of the rack that will secure it to the forks of your lift truck. This allows you to safely lift and transport slit coils.
We offer two portable slit coil racks. One that is designed to store and transport coils that have a 24″-50″ diameter. We also have a portable slit coil rack that is designed for 34″ -72″ diameter slit coils. Slit coils are stored in the rack eye to aisle. This allows you to easily load and unload slit coils into the rack system.
