UNARCO T-Bolt pallet racking is a roll formed rack that has uprights with a square hole and beams with a bolted connection!

UNARCO Material Handling T-bolt rack is hybrid rack that combines the advantages of roll formed rack with the secure connection of structural rack with bolted beams. It’s a very high quality style of pallet rack but I would not say it’s very popular. It’s manufactured by Unarco Material Handling, one of the nation’s largest pallet rack manufacturers. Unarco also manufactures teardrop and Sturdy-Bilt styles of pallet rack.

T-bolt pallet racking has a distinguishing characteristic. It has a blue upright with square holes and yellow beams with an end piece that requires you to nut and bolt beam to the upright frame. The bolted connection on Unarco racking is very secure but you will spend more money in installation and more effort in rearranging beam levels. Although T-bolt racking is a very good rack, it is not a popular style and the resale value is less than teardrop rack on the used market.

Unarco’s T-bolt pallet racking is available new or used. It’s a unique style of selective pallet rack. This Unarco racking consists of upright frames and step beams. It’s designed to store pallets in warehouses and distribution centers. In that regard it is a fine rack but T-bolt rack is just a little to non-standard for me to recommend. Unless you can get a good deal on used T-bolt or Unarco racking, I recommend that you stick with Teardrop style rack.
