Los Angeles, California Pallet Rack & Wire Decking

SPECIAL NOTE: We can provide seismic pallet rack that meets the codes in Los Angeles. Los Angeles as well as the entire state of California has occasional earthquakes.  Therefore, we are able to provide a free seismic analysis to make sure that the new pallet racks we are providing will meet the local building codes/ seismic codes. Often times this means that pallet rack uprights will have enlarged foot plates, heavy duty bottom horizontal bracing and beams will have additional capacity.

This is serious business for two reasons: If the building inspector discovers you are using pallet rack that is not been designed to meet seismic codes or if you did not pull a permit they may not let you use the rack. And most importantly, if you are a warehouse worker operating in the rack you would like the assurance in knowing that in the event of an earthquake the rack is not going to come crashing down on your head. It’s all about safety.

In order for us to run a free seismic analysis we need is the answers to these 3 questions:

  1. 1. What is the full address including zip code where rack will be installed?
  2. 2. How many beam levels (or shelf levels) do you have in the rack and where are they located in relation to the floor? For example you could say you are storing pallets on floor with 3 beam levels above, first beam level at 5′, second beam level at 10′, third (top) beam level at 15′.
  3. 3. On average, how much weight are you storing on each beam level (or shelf level)? You can also answer this question by telling us what is average pallet weight?

To go step further, we can also provide PE stamped drawings which you will need to pull a permit. We can make this easy for you.
