Teardrop Coil Cradles | Roll-Form Coil Storage Rack System

Our teardrop coil cradle system is great for two primary applications: if you have light to medium-weight coils (meaning coils that weigh 1,000 – 6,000 LBS) or if you are located on the West Coast. Our roll-form teardrop coil cradle racks are manufactured in San Diego, CA so there are lots of freight savings if you are located on the West Coast. By nature, a teardrop roll-formed pallet rack is not as strong as a structural pallet rack, therefore we recommend our teardrop coil cradle racks for use with lighter weight products.

If you have coils that weigh 9,000 – 10,000 LBS we recommend you use our heavy-duty structural steel coil rack system. But if the coil weight is lighter there are tremendous savings you can derive from using our teardrop style coil storage cradles. The rack is designed around the size and weight of your coils. We ask that you tell us the diameter (outside diameter measured on the side with the eye), width (or depth), and weight of your coils. Depending on the weight, we will design the roll-formed cradle to accommodate one or two coils wide per shelf as shown in the featured pictures.

Our cradles are ideal for organizing your coils, protecting them from damage when bulk stacked on the floor, and allowing you to regain valuable floor space. Clean up that mess you have lying on the floor with this vertical storage. We can design the cradle to fit the diameter of your coils. These styles just drop over the beams and remain fixed to beams supporting coils in stored position. Beam levels are adjustable giving you lots of flexibility in storing coils of different sizes.

Our teardrop coil storage cradle system can be designed for different sizes, weights, and materials.
