Warehouse Rack & Shelf LLC proudly provides complete solutions for companies planning, purchasing, implementing and maintaining pallet rack and material handling systems. With 40+ years of experience, thousands of engineered projects and thousands of permits processed it is our vision to bring quality, affordability, safety and efficiency to the material handling industry.

We offer top notch pallet rack engineering, prelims, fabrication, shipping, permitting, installation and inspection services for our clients. We work with engineers licensed in 50 U.S. states. They assist in the design of pallet rack from most manufacturers, distributors and users of pallet rack and material handling across the country.

If requested, you can count on receiving seismic pre-calculations on the pallet rack that you purchase from our company so you are sure that it meets the codes in your specific municipality. We can also supply pallet rack layout services, PE stamped calculations on the rack that are necessary to pulling a permit along with permitting services.

With pallet rack manufacturing in San Diego, CA and distribution from Los Angeles, CA. We can provide seismic pallet rack that meets the codes throughout the entire state of California. As you know, California is known for having earthquakes.  We are able to provide a free seismic analysis to make sure that the new pallet racks we are providing will meet the local building codes/ seismic codes. Often times this means that pallet rack uprights will have enlarged foot plates, heavy duty bottom horizontal bracing and beams will have additional capacity.

This is serious business for two reasons: If the building inspector discovers you are using pallet rack that is not been designed to meet seismic codes or if you did not pull a permit they may not let you use the rack. And most importantly, if you are a warehouse worker operating in the rack you would like the assurance in knowing that in the event of an earthquake the rack is not going to come crashing down on your head. It’s all about safety.

In order for us to run a free seismic analysis we need is the answers to these 3 questions:

  1. 1. What is the full address including zip code where rack will be installed?
  2. 2. How many beam levels (or shelf levels) do you have in the rack and where are they located in relation to the floor? For example you could say you are storing pallets on floor with 3 beam levels above, first beam level at 5′, second beam level at 10′, third (top) beam level at 15′.
  3. 3. On average, how much weight are you storing on each beam level (or shelf level)? You can also answer this question by telling us what is average pallet weight?

To go step further, we can also provide PE stamped drawings which you will need to pull a permit. We can make this easy for you.
