If you have wire container’s you have two ways to stack them: One is to stack them on top of one another. The other is to stack it in a pallet rack system. I mean heck, wire containers with their stackable feet are designed to be stacked on top of one another. The only downside to doing that is what if you want the product in basket on the bottom of the stack? You have to unstack all of the baskets that are stacked on top.

If you need access to product stored in individual wire basket’s you may find it is more efficient to store your wire baskets on the shelves of a pallet rack system. But there comes the dilemma. How do you safely store wire baskets on the shelves of a pallet rack system? These wire safe storage containers have feet and when the basket is fully loaded all of the weight comes down in a point load on the feet. Most pallet rack decking is not designed to handle point loads.

If you try to store these safe storage containers on most pallet rack decking there is a high likelihood that the decking will fail and that the wire basket will come crashing with its contents to the floor causing a potentially dangerous accident. The solution to safely storing wire baskets in pallet on decking is (drum roll please): Pallet Rack with Properly sized Bar Grate Decking that has been designed with a load capacity to handle point loads.

Warehouse Rack & Shelf has the knowledge and experience to offer the trifecta: Pallet rack, bar grate decking and wire baskets that have been designed to safely and efficiently work with one another.
