The 40″ x 96″ footprint is engineered for storing and transporting long, bulky parts that won’t fit in standard 40″ x 48″ baskets. With an oversized 96″ width and 42″ overall height (36″ usable inside height), this extra-wide design provides capacity while maintaining the structural strength required for industrial applications. Designed for things such as tubing, extrusions, bar stock, trim components, and other elongated materials, these custom knock-down wire containers maximize storage density without sacrificing accessibility.
Each container is built for durability and features a 2,000 lb. load capacity (based on evenly distributed load) and is constructed with 2″ x 2″ x 2 gauge mesh on both the base and sides. An understructure and (6) robotically welded feet ensure consistent stacking performance and reliability in demanding warehouse and manufacturing environments. The unit is stackable two high when loaded, helping operations utilize vertical cube space. For access to long parts, a half-drop gate is positioned on the 96″ side, allowing ergonomic loading and unloading while minimizing product damage.
These containers are collapsible (knock-down design), reducing return freight costs and saving floor space when not in use.
