Fun facts about Atlanta include that it averages 1” of snow per year. There is plenty of fresh water in Atlanta but no beaches. You will have to travel at least 4-5 hours to get to a coastal beach. Atlanta has the second most shopping centers in the United States. Atlanta’s famous Varsity restaurant serves more Coca-Cola by volume than any other restaurant in the world. And Atlanta houses the College Football Hall of Fame.
