These stackable, steel pallet storage solutions are replacing costly custom wood pallets in manufacturing, warehousing and distribution. These custom metal pallets come in a variety of different sizes and can store a variety of different products. They are ideal for storing sheet metal and other flat products.
The real payoff of stackable sheet metal pallets is that they last much longer than wood pallets. If you ask a user of high-priced custom wood pallets what their biggest complaint is, they will tell you that they end up in the woodchipper. Often times, custom wood pallets are not recognized as what they are and they get mixed in with low cost wood pallets and end up getting discarded. That is a costly mistake.
Stackable custom metal pallets can be easily handled by a forklift. They come with fork stirrups or fork tunnels on the sides that secure them to the fork of your forklift. Sheet metal pallets can be easily transported around the manufacturing facility and warehouse. They make great shipping racks and can be used to help cube out a trailer protecting product while in transit.
Some of the things that make custom metal pallets more unique and different than wood pallets is that the come with corner posts which allow for easy stacking.
