Cart Trak Carton flow systems bring the cartons to you instead of you having to reach for the cartons increasing both storage density, handling efficiency but most importantly safety. No more reaching for cartons at the back of the shelf. No more strains, no more injuries related to repetitive movements that turn into costly workers comp claims.
All it takes is one injury related to picking heavy boxes and cartons off the back of the shelf for it to pay for an entire warehouse full of Carton-Track carton flow tracks. Our carton flow tracks just drop onto your existing pallet rack beams. Turn a static shelf into a dynamic pick module with our “Span-Track” style carton flow tracks.
The main advantage to Cart-Track carton flow systems, besides their easy installation, is that they allow you to flow boxes of many different shapes, sizes and weights. The carton flow tracks are constructed of full width aluminum rollers that are embedded in an aluminum frame. Super heavy-duty construction allows you to drop and flow heavy boxes with ease.
It is easy to convert your pallet rack to a carton flow rack system that allows you to load boxes and cartons from the back of the systems and pick from the front of the system. Cart Track carton flow systems are the purest form of “First-in/ First-Out” carton flow. You can even load and unload boxes from the front of the system.
Drop in Carton flow tracks are typically designed around a consistent size box to tote. They come in different widths including 6″, 9″, 12″ and 16″ roller widths. These aluminum rollers can be spaced at 1″ or 3″ on-center spacing depending on the size of the boxes you are flowing. Small boxes require tighter 1″ spacing – bigger boxes can flow on 3″ roller spacing which will save you money.
Cart Tracks have end stops that drop over your pallet rack step beams and stop boxes when they reach the front of the shelf. They even have label holders on front to identify products stored in each lane. This is a gravity flow system so back of shelf is higher than the front of the shelf.
