Check out these corrugated steel containers with forklift fork lifting lugs. This is a unique solution to customers who want the flexibility of lifting containers with overhead crane or the forks of your forklift.
You could choose to add fork stirrups under the container for lifting with forks of forklift. You could choose to add crane lifting lugs on top corners of container for lifting container with a crane. Or you could add “fork lifting lugs” which are capable of doing both jobs.
Why would someone want to fork the container from the top instead of the bottom? If your containers set on rough terrain, line grass, dirt, gravel, it tends to sink down in the elements which obstruct the opening making it difficult to get the forks under the container. Fork lifting lugs solve that problem.
