These column protectors are engineered to fit Mecalux pallet rack uprights with standard 4-11/16″ wide foot plates, providing a precise protection solution for one of the industry’s most used rack systems. We are now stocking these Mecalux-specific V-nose protectors, ensuring faster availability and reduced lead times. The low-profile, 4″ high design shields the most vulnerable portion of the upright, at floor level, where stand-up reach trucks and outriggers typically make contact.

The V-shaped profile wraps around the upright foot plate for impact resistance, which helps prevent damage, load failures, and system downtime. The bull-nose front reinforces the protector and houses the anchor hole inside the nose, protecting the fastener from damage. Built from .32″ thick steel, this protector is heavier duty than typical thin-gauge alternatives and is designed to take repeated low-level impacts without deforming or compromising the integrity of the upright.

Installation is straightforward. Each V-nose protector bolts directly to the warehouse floor and requires a single anchor (anchor not included). The compact height keeps forklift outriggers from catching the upright while maintaining clearance for pallets and order pickers.
