Dock Door & Roll Up Overhead Door Fall Prevention Safety Stopper Device

10′ High Fully-Automatic Overhead Door/ Dock Door Safety Device WITH LED LIGHTS. New. This system comes with (2) safety arms, one for each side of garage door. Each arm is mounted to the dock door track using supplied clamps. Supplied clamps are designed for a standard 2” garage door track. Custom mounting options are available upon request.

Once the existing dock door opener is pressed the dock door will open until it trips the supplied limit switch. Then the safety arms will automatically extend into position. The GREEN LED light will come on to let you know the safety arms are in position. Dock door is opened high enough so the arms can clear.

This system uses an electric cylinder, that is connected to the arms, to move the arms in/out of position. This system also comes with an electrical box and a RED LED light to let you the safety arms are not in position and a GREEN LED light to let you know the arms are in position.

When closing the dock door, the operator will press close on the existing garage door opener and then safety arms will retract, and the dock door will close.

*Safety arms are powder coated yellow. Steel brackets are powder coated black with all aluminum anodized clear. Part Number: Automatic

*SPECIAL NOTE: When green LED light is on, safety support is fully engaged under overhead door. fully automatic unit with LED light connects to existing door opener. Opener requires some wiring to be done by professionally licensed electrician.

*SPECIAL NOTE: Customer should never walk or stand under an overhead door unless overhead door safety device is installed properly, and green neon light is on signifying safety device is activated. We strongly recommend that overhead door safety device be installed by professional licensed electrician to ensure that it is tested and proven to function properly. As long as overhead door safety device is professionally installed, regularly maintained and there is no damage or negligence on customers part overhead door safety device will function properly. Customer is responsible for yearly maintenance checks, upkeep, etc. to ensure safety.
