Save money purchasing reconditioned GMA wood pallets. Reconditioned wood pallets certainly have their place in the industry. Companies can save money by purchasing reconditioned GMA wood pallets for certain applications.
Reconditioned wood pallets come in two grades, A and B. Of course, Grade A is the best. Grade A reconditioned GMA wood pallets have no spliced deck boards. All deck boards are secured. All stringers are intact across the height. There are no block or companion boards used on the white wood pallet. Grade A reconditioned wood pallets have no leading edge boards missing wood. 1.5″ in depth at any point on top or bottom boards.
Grade A reconditioned GMA pallets are made of recycled white wood. They are double-faced, non-reversible, and have partial four-way entry. Premium grade A recycled wood pallets will not have space between boards – 3.5″. They will not have protruding nails outside the perimeter of the pallet (any protruding nails must be cut off or hammered into the wood). Grade A pallets will not have visual contamination due to product spillage, and no external substances—any debris or material such as stretch wrap, cardboard, stickers, dirt, etc.
Grade B reconditioned wood pallets are also made of recycled white wood. Grade B wood pallets will have no broken or unsecured boards across the width. They have a partial four-way entry. Grade B wood pallets have seven or more boards on the top deck. Six boards, if the spacing is between 3.5″. Three or more boards on the bottom deck. 4″ or 6″ top and bottom leading edges, three stringers + wood. Grade B pallets can be either hardwood or softwood species lumber. Standard nails or stiff stock wire fasteners are used.
