How can they be called “lumber pallets” if they are made of plastic? They’re called Plastic Lumber Pallets because they are made Trex Plastic Lumber planks and as you can see from the pictures they REALLY resemble wood pallets. From a distance you might not be able to tell a difference but the big difference is that plastic composite wood pallets won’t split and crack.
Our custom hand made rackable plastic pallets for sale are constructed of Trex plastic plank lumber decking that is 95% recycled. The planks of these composite wood pallets are screwed together with 2-1/2″ long screws that give them the look and functionality of standard wooden lumber pallets but with all of the advantages of molded plastic pallets.
These plastic pallets can be stored in pallet rack and behave just like wood pallets. These are typically used in-house and not meant to transport product in trailers. The reason is because they are too expensive to lose. It is best to use inexpensive wood pallets as one way transport pallets.
