Material handling and industrial carts with 360 degree rotating top for ergonomic access to stored product at operator workstation. This rotating top can rotation rack can also be integrated into a tow cart. The biggest advantage to these rotate carts is that they greatly reduce injuries that commonly occur in order picking and handling of products.
Rotate carts have a rotating top that can stop and be locked in place every 90 or 180 degree’s. They can have one foot pedal or two foot pedals, one on each side of the cart, that release the pin and allows the top to rotate. These foot pedals make the cart easy to operate.
The thing that is so special about a can rotation rack is that the top rotates for ergonomic order picking and easy access to stored goods. They are designed to handle palletized loads. The rotation cart is designed for storing and transporting palletized product or plastic, steel or wire bulk containers filled with contents for picking.
No more reaching, stooping, bending and straining. Let’s say the operator doesn’t have a lot of room to operate and they need to pick from the same corner of the cart every time and they don’t want to reach to the back of the skid or container, they can simply rotate the top of the cart, thus rotating the load to come to them – Mountain meet Mohammed.
Can rotation racks allow you to pick from the same corner of the pallet every time. The operator is able to rotate the load around and moving the back right corner or back left corner to the front so the product in always coming back to them in the same spot for picking. So if they are unloading a 40″ x 48″ pallet of product they can rotate the pallet load so they only pick from the same 24″ x 24″ location.
Talk about flexibility, rotating carts are towable and can also act as push carts when detached from the train. You can tow 6, 8 up to 10 carts at a time behind a tugger. This multi purpose cart is ideal for stock replenishment and can travel from the manufacturing, warehousing, the assembly line and even to packaging and shipping. They can even be designed to be the Daughter cart in a Mother Daughter cart system.
PRO TIP: THIS CART IS THE EXACT SAME CART AS THE STATIC CART WITH THE ABILITY TO BE TOWED AND PUSHED – THE ONLY DIFFERNCE IS IT HAS A ROTATING TOP.
