NOTES: Staggered Plastic Wheel Flow Beds can be sold by the shelf level. Our most popular configuration is designed for a 96″ wide x 96″ deep beam level (A typical back to back row). Flow beds for a 96″ wide x 96″ deep pallet rack beam level includes 4 – 18″ wide tracks and 2 – 12″ wide tracks per shelf. This offers you the greatest coverage and most flexible storage from left to right of your shelf. The number of lanes is only determined by the width of the boxes you are wanting to flow.

Lower Prices for Larger Quantities

Sure, staggered wheel carton flow rack systems are more expensive then QuickPik with it’s cheap plastic wheels. It’s even more expensive than Span-track with it’s full width rollers. But what you get in return is FLEXIBILITY, DURABILITY AND CONSISTANT RELIABLE FLOW.

Wheeled flow rack systems give you versatility in storing boxes of varying sizes. You are never confined to a fixed number of lanes. You have as many lanes from left to right as your box width dictates. These poly wheel flow beds can stand up to heavy boxes and cases getting thrown down during multiple shifts over multiple years.

Gravity flow racks are designed to flow cartons, cases, boxes and totes. They have become the GO-TO wheeled carton flow system for large warehouses and distribution centers. It is typically added to the lower beam / shelf levels of your rack system. These levels are hand picked utilizing a cart or order picker.

Staggered plastic wheel carton flow rack systems are constructed of durable steel side frames and utilize heavy duty 1.9″ polypropylene wheels that are staggered and spaced 2″ – 3″ OC apart depending on the size of your box. Smaller boxes (say under 12″ wide x 12″ deep) may require a tighter spacing.

These staggered carton flow beds are supported by the front and back beams of your flow rack system. You can use your existing beams or we can provide new beams to fit into your pallet rack. The components to a staggered wheel carton flow rack system include staggered wheel flow beds and front and back hangers. The hangers simply drop over the front and back beams and support the flow beds. Carton flow rack systems tend to come in lengths that fit into single or double deep pallet racking.

TIPS FROM THE PRO: The staggered wheel carton flow beds do not come standard with a stop on front as the beam acts as a stop (see attached mounting drawing). The staggered wheel carton flow bed hangs down in the front allowing pallet rack beam to stop boxes at the discharge side (or front unloading side). Now if you want us to add an additional stop we can do so at an additional charge – just ask.

Also, our standard staggered wheel carton flow beds do not come with lane dividers but if you want them just ask. We have full length front to back dividers or lesser priced flags that help define lanes (see attached photos).

Lastly, we recommend that in most cases you raise the back beam of your pallet rack to offer a grade that increases flow to front of the system.
