Cantilever Rack with Roof Truss for Outdoor Lumber Storage

We are experts at supplying cantilever lumber racks with roof truss for outdoor lumber storage. You would be amazed at how many cantilever racks with roof structures for storing lumber outside we provide. They are usually supplied to lumber companies for outdoor lumber storage.
Now please keep in mind that we only supply the cantilever rack and the roof truss. The roof truss comes with 2 arm connectors that bolt directly to the upright but WE DON’T SUPPLY THE PURLIN CLIPS OR ROOFING MATERIAL – just the cantilever rack for storing lumber outside and the steel truss.
The reason we don’t supply the roofing material is because roofing material is subject to the amount of weight the roof must hold in times of snowing conditions and more importantly the requirements of your local building officials.
PLEASE NOTE: WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONTACT YOUR LOCAL BUILDING OFFICIALS BEFORE PURCHASING AND ASSEMBLING A CANTILEVER RACK WITH ROOF STRUCTURE FOR STORING LUMBER OUTSIDE AND DETERMINE WHAT THEY REQUIRE.
FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF CANTILEVER RACK WITH OPTIONAL ROOF TRUSS:
1. The special roof support has a 3:12 roof pitch.
2. Four 2″ x 4″ purlins per roof support are required to support roof load.
3. Roof is NOT supported by Warehouse Rack & Shelf LLC.
4. Purlins are NOT supplied by Warehouse Rack & Shelf LLC.
5. Base must be anchored to concrete floor or piers to resist 3,262 LBS of uplift at each end.
6. The installation of this roof support will reduce the capacity of the U1658-AH from 9,500 LBS to 9,000 LBS.
7. Nails required to attached purlins to special clips are NOT supplied by Warehouse Rack & Shelf LLC.
8. No. 2 Southern Yellow Pine or Equivalent required for 2×4 purlins.
9. Arms are adjustable on three inch centers.
10. Painted standard medium gray.
11. Be sure to add extra height to accommodate truss and roof.
12. Be sure to add 1′ or more overhang on truss/roof extended out over arm.
13. Please give us a good description of what you are storing (example bundle length x width x height x weight) and let us design a system that is best for your needs.
14. MOST IMPORTANT: Check with your local building officials as to what is required. Customer is responsible for supplying roofing material that is suitable and strong enough to handle weather conditions (ie. snow) in your area. Customer is also responsible for permitting and installation.
