Our heavy-duty rigid wire bins are constructed the exact same way as our heavy-duty corrugated steel containers. The only difference is that they have 2″ x 2″ x .187 diameter wire mesh sides which aids in product identification and helps you meet fire codes.
The biggest advantage to our rigid wire bins (and what makes it such a hot selling product) is that they meet the ever increasing Fire Safety Standards that require bulk storage containers have 50% or greater open sides. This allows sprinkler systems better coverage in case of a fire. In many cases you can save money on your insurance. We recommend you check with your local Fire Marshal for their requirements.
Our rigid wire containers are built to order and arrive on your dock ready to use. Stackable rigid bins ship with no wood pallets, dunnage or packing necessary. The are a flexible storage solution for bulk storage and transportation or parts and ideal when floor space is at a minimum.
These portable wire bins can be placed at the assembly line, filled with parts, transported to the warehouse and densely stacked. When the parts are ready to ship they make excellent shipping container that protect the parts in transit and help you better cube out your trailer.
Rigid wire mesh bulk containers are commonly handled by forklift trucks but can also be moved around with a pallet jack if the wire container has a side that is 48″ in length. Many of our customers will add fork stirrups to the container that secures them to the forks for safer lifting and transportation.
Our rigid wire bins are built to last. They have rigid corner assemblies that are constructed of 2″ x 2″ x .186 diameter wire mesh sides, rigid 2″ x 2″ x 3/16″ angle iron corner posts, 13 gauge steel bottom panel (12 GA bottom panel on larger sizes), 7 gauge carbon steel formed stacking targets on top and 7 gauge carbon steel formed 4″ high feet.
Available in a variety of standard colors including blue, green, black and gray. The industrial enamel paint is applied to the inside and outside of the container (excluding the underside). Stackable 4-5 high these rigid wire bins increase storage density in your warehouse while increasing handling efficiency.
