We cannot advertise these leak resistant, corrugated steel containers as leak proof or liquid tight because we can’t afford to leak test every one of them. That would slow down the factories assembly line too much and increase the cost significantly. What we can tell you is that we add a special full seam weld along the inside corners, sides and bottom of the steel container (see attached picture). This full seam weld along the corners helps prevent water from leaking.
These corrugated steel containers are ideal for storing wet material. They are popular in the brewing industry for storing and transporting spent grain. We often add a custom extended bottom, angle iron gap reducers to each corner and weld all inside corners with a full seam weld. Lastly we give them a quality enamel finish applied directly to the metal, inside and out but not on the underside.
Our leak-resistant, custom corrugated steel containers are stackable 4-5 high which helps you save space in your warehouse. They can also be used to transport material in trailers to the jobsite. Corrugated steel containers have so many purposes. And being able to store liquids and wet materials gives them so much more value. These liquid tight containers help you get the job done.
NOTES: We do not leak test these corrugated steel containers so therefore we cannot guarantee that these will be leak proof. If you find that they have a leak you will be responsible for trying to fix it or use it for a different purpose. We do not accept the return of custom steel containers.
