Required Drawings: To provide a quote, we need manufacturing drawings or photos of your current automotive shipping racks, or CAD drawings of the parts to be stored. Without this information, we cannot proceed.
Design Services:
Custom Rack Design: For $3,000, our factory engineers can create detailed rack drawings, provided you supply part drawings (We’re happy to sign an NDA). A purchase order is required to initiate this service – or it can be put on a credit card.
Prototypes: Available at an additional cost.

The car hood is typically a stamped metal part that is manufactured in a large break press and immediately stored in racks that are used to transport the automotive hood assembly from the Tier 1 manufacturer to the assembly line of the automotive manufacturer or warehouse of the aftermarket retailer. The hood is constructed of steel, aluminum, fiberglass or carbon fiber. They typically have an interior latch, cable and handle assembly. Hoods may contain scoops, power bulges, wiper jets or hood ornaments. Hoods are delicate and must be stored and transported with great care.
