We build our heavy-duty corrugated steel bins right here in the good ole’ USA. Our bins are built to order and shipped ready to use. That’s because there are just too many different sizes and feature combinations to stock each and every one. That is the reason our steel pallet containers are more affordable then the competition is that we don’t have to pay to stock every size and we pass that savings on to you.

We offer 27 standard sizes that are available for quick delivery. From 30″ x 30″ to 48″ x 48″ and everything in between. Standard heights include 24″ overall height with 18″ useable and 30″ overall height with 24″ useable height. We even do custom sizes. We have the material ready to go, simply pick a size that best meets your needs and we can manufacture it for you.

The corrugations in our steel make the bins stronger than if we used flat steel sides. Our stackable steel containers are made of 13-gauge corrugated steel sides for strength and rigidity. The bins have 13 gauge sheet steel bottom panels (12 GA bottoms on larger units), heavy duty 2″ x 2″ x 3/16″ steel angle iron corner posts, 7 gauge stacking targets on top and 4″ legs that allow for stacking on the bottom of the bin.

Our industrial corrugated steel totes are designed to offer 4,000 LBS capacity while stackable 4-5 high. The all welded construction guarantees years of dependable use. Available in your choice of standard colors including blue, green, black and gray industrial enamel paint finish that is applied inside and out. The only place we do not paint is the underside of the container.

These stackable steel bulk containers are ideal for storage and shipping of heavy parts. They protect your valuable parts in transit. The all welded design is perfect for the toughest material handling applications. Typically handled by forklifts but also can be moved with a pallet jack if the container has a side that is 42″ or wider.

The stacking feet allow you to easily and securely stack them which helps increase storage density and help you regain valuable floor space. Corrugated storage containers are the obvious choice when floor space is at a premium and pallet rack is not available. They are a flexible storage solution that allows you to move and stack product as you see necessary.

To call them corrugated steel “containers” is kind of a misnomer because when you think container  you think of something that can hold liquids and I assure you that our standard steel containers do not hold liquids.  That is why we call them corrugated steel bins, boxes, tubs or totes. In fact, they are not recommended for parts smaller than a 5/8″ ball bearing.

Our stackable corrugated totes are popular for storing scrap metal and recyclables. These heavy-duty steel bins work in almost any industrial environment but they are NOT recommended for storing heated materials and it is NOT recommended that you drop heavy parts into them. If you are a foundry and dropping heavy metal parts into the steel bins let us know and we can add a single or double 12 GA reinforced steel bottom panel.

Corrugated Steel Container Features, Options & Accessories (in order of popularity):

Solid Sides – 4 wall container. Our most popular model (See attached pictures).

Half Drop Gate – Drop the gate for easy ergonomic access to stored items. Close the gate to help contain products in storage and transit.

Lifting Lugs – Set of (4) – 3/8″ thick x 4″ x 7″ lifting lugs with 2″ diameter hole that are welded on corners of the container (on the widest side). Allows you to lift the containers with overhead crane. We cannot add these to containers with drop gates or hopper front. The container needs lifting lug and container with 4 solid sides to be lifted by a crane. Made in accordance with ANSI-26.1-2004.

Open Hopper Front – The open front is ideal for picking products. It provides easy ergonomic access to stored goods. Ideal for parts storage and picking efficiency.

2 Way Fork Stirrups – Set of (4) – 3/8″ thick x 2″ wide bar with 3″ x 6″ fork opening allows 2-way entry typically added to the widest side of the container. These are a safety option that can be added to our containers at time of order. They help secure the containers to the forks of your lift truck to help prevent container from falling when stacking or in transit.

2 Way Fork Tubes – Set of 2 fork tunnels go the whole length of the container. 3″ x 6″ x 10 GA fork openings on widest side of the container. Great for when you have rotating forks and need to dump contents of container.

Angle Runners – Set of (2) – 3/16″ x 2″ x 2″ steel angle runners welded on the narrowest side go the length of the container.  These runners are flush to the floor. They help prevent damage to the feet. They also help evenly distribute weight when stored on pallet rack decking and prevent point loads of feet on decking.

TIPS FROM THE PRO: Calling these containers is somewhat of a misnomer in that they can’t hold water. Our corrugated steel containers have gaps at the bottom corners of the corrugations. They will not hold water or anything smaller than a 5/8″ ball bearing. They are not FDA approved and not recommend for storing food products, even if the food product is bagged. If you are storing food product we recommend you use a stainless steel container (which we don’t sell).

NOTES REGARDING CORRUGATED STEEL CONTAINERS:

  1. 12ga bottoms are only used in 49.5”W x 49.5”L, 43.5”W x 49.5”L, 43.5”W x 43.5”L and 36.5”W x 49.5”L containers.
  2. Industrial enamel finish is applied direct to metal through-out but not including underside.
  3. I.D. is a nominal dimension as we do not take into account the space that the corrugations or top wrap (rim lip) take up.
  4. Clear dimensions which would be the dimension of an unobstructed cube that would fit inside the container as follows for the above size:
    1. 46.75” x 46.75” x 22.38” clear dims.
