These rugged platform carts transport product throughout your facility. They’re hitched and towed like a train pulling multiple carts around your manufacturing facility or warehouse. Quad steer carts are all custom made. They can be designed with different features. They can also be built to handle many different capacities.
The advantage to transporting items on tow carts is you reduce the need for forklifts thus reducing the number of forklifts needed to service an area. Less forklifts means less forklift traffic increases worker safety. Less forklifts also means greater savings in energy and equipment cost.
Quad carts make ideal tow carts because they track so well. What makes these quad carts unique are their four independent steer wheels. This allows them to make very tight turns which saves space. They can turn in a much tighter path than a standard trailer. You will find that our quad steer carts will serve you faithfully and efficiently for many, many years.
Tow Cart Features Include:
• Wheels that range in size from 10″ x 2.5″, 12″ x 3″ and 16″ x 8″.
• Wheels constructed of molded-on, pneumatic, pneumatic foam and poly.
• Four wheel steer trailers can be provided with hitches that are pin and clevis tongue and hitch, ball hitch and coupler tongue, ring tongue and pin hitch and auto latch hitch and tongue.
• Other steer trailer options include corner bumpers, corner pockets, end pipe (used with corner pockets), wood deck, steel deck, drop-tongue brake, 1-1/2 lip and enclosure.
